"The process and procedure used to choose the nominating
committee members on
December
10-14, 2001 in Myanmar Union Mission session and the subsequent election
procedures
used on January 9-12, 2002 in Upper Myanmar Mission session and December
29-31,
2003 mid-term review were not done in accordance with SSD Working Policy."
MAC took
an action against it for their "refusal to operate in harmony with
Church
Manual"
Church Manual, p.203 in implementing "representative" Church
government in the
constituency
meetings of 2001, 2003 and 2006.
1. Be
aware of Pastors & Teachers...
Warning to cease to depend upon pastors and
teachers for the truth (Manuscript Release #1200, p
11--Letter
19d, Sept 1, 1892).
The
error of MYUM in all its sessions of constituency elections as Muller
Kyaw confessed his self-made policy through circular letters on October
31, 2005 and Muller Kyaw put aside SSD constitutions, Bylaws and Working
Policies. In other words, he refused "representatives" church
government by appointing Nominating committee members from the expired
mission's executive committee to achieve their personal benefit.
MAC is holding firm to the SSD working policy in all its sessions.
2. The
development of the beast...
It was apostasy that led the early church to seek the aid of
the civil government, and this prepared the way for the development of the
papacy--the beast. Said Paul: "There" shall "come a falling
away, . . . and that man of sin be revealed." 2 Thessalonians 2:3. So
apostasy in the church will prepare the way for the image to the beast. [Great
Controversy p. 443-444]
22/11/2004:
MYUM President Pr. Muller Kyaw submitted a written request to the Township
Director
of
Religious Affair in Kalemyo that he might fine and dissolve the Conference
groups, as the victims of religious criminals.
3. The Church becomes corrupt when.....
The
world must not be introduced into the church and married to the church. Through
union with the world the church will become corrupt, --' a cage of every
unclean and hateful bird"[Revelation 18:2]" [Review and Herald,
vol 3, p 233]
In 9/2/
2005 Pr Suak Kho Ngin himself submitted a written request to township and
district
council
of Teddim, kale, Tamu to close down Bible School. And his own brother Ngo
kho
Nang in
March, 26, 2007 sent a written letter to the government to arrest the
leaders
in
Kalay.
4.
The Lord's way of dealing difficult matters....
The spirit that instigates accusation and
condemnation in the church which results in uprooting those that are looked
upon as evil-doers, has manifested itself in seeking to correct wrongs through
the civil power. This is Satan's own method for bringing the world under his
dominion; but the Lord Jesus Christ has given us no such example for thus
dealing with the erring.
Our Lord
teaches that matters of difficulty between Christians are to be settled within
the church. They should not be opened before those who do not fear God. If a
Christian is wronged by his brother, let him not appeal to unbelievers in a
court of justice. Let him follow out the instruction Christ has given. Instead
of trying to avenge himself, let him seek to save his brother. God will guard
the interests of those who love and fear Him, and with confidence we may commit
our case to Him who judges righteously. [Christ's Object Lessons, page
248, paragraph 5, page 249, paragraph 1]
5. The Lord is greatly dishonored when.....
When
troubles arise in the church we should not go for help to lawyers not of our
faith. God does not desire us to open church difficulties before those who do
not fear Him. He would not have us depend for help on those who do not obey His
requirements. Those who trust in such counselors show that they have not faith
in God. By their lack of faith the Lord is greatly dishonored, and their course
works great injury to themselves. In appealing to unbelievers to settle
difficulties in the church they are biting and devouring one another, to be
"consumed one of another" (Gal. 5:15).
The
world and unconverted church members are in sympathy. Some when God reproves
them for wanting their own way, make the world their confidence, and bring
church matters before the world for decision. Then there is collision and
strife, and Christ is crucified afresh, and put to open shame. Those church
members who appeal to the courts of the world show that they have chosen the
world as their judge, and their names are registered in heaven as one with
unbelievers. How eagerly the world seizes the statements of those who betray
sacred trusts! [Selected Messages Book 3, page 302, paragraph 3 ]
6.
The securities of our institution should rest to whom....
God has appointed His workers to stand true to
him at their respective posts of duty. They are not to work in accordance with
the plans of worldly-wise men, nor are they to take such men into their
councils. Those who are true to their trust will not make lawyers the main
support of the securities of our institutions. [S&M p. 336,
Paragraph 3]
7.
When the truth is being presented....
"Now
as in former ages, the presentation of a truth that reproves the sins and
errors of the times will excite opposition. 'Everyone that doeth evil
hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be
reproved.' John 3:20. As men see that they cannot maintain their
position by the Scriptures, many determine to maintain it at all hazards, and
with a malicious spirit they assail the character and motives of those who
stand in defense of unpopular truth. It is the same policy which has been
pursued in all ages. Elijah was declared to be a troubler in Israel, Jeremiah a
traitor, Paul a polluter of the temple. From that day to this, those who would
be loyal to truth have been denounced as seditious, heretical, or schismatic.
Multitudes who are too unbelieving to accept the sure word of prophecy will
receive with unquestioning credulity an accusation against those who dare to
reprove fashionable sins. This spirit will increase more and more. And the
Bible plainly teaches that a time is approaching when the laws of the state
will so conflict with the law of God that whosoever would obey all the divine
precepts must brave reproach and punishment as an evildoer." The
Great Controversy, pp. 458, 459.
8.
You become a citizen of the kingdom of God when.....
"Now
I want to state a little further upon the principle that no Christian, being a
citizen of the kingdom of God, can of right start any procedure in connection
with civil government. After it is started by the government itself, that is
another questiion . . . I repeat therefore, that upon the principles which
govern kingdoms and governments, the very principle of the law in heaven, or
law in earth, a Christian cannot start any procedure in connection with civil
government. And of all Christians, SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS cannot do it. The
very keeping of the Sabbath forbids it."
Pastor
A. T. Jones, 1895 General Conference Bulletin, page 28.
